Welcome to the San Dieguito Union High School District!
As superintendent, my leadership philosophy is grounded in a very simple but powerful belief that "All children can learn–not on the same day, not in the same way." By joining together, we have the knowledge and capability to realize this belief. The question is whether we possess the will to do so. Each day I work to support the efforts taking place in the district to meet this goal while challenging the staff and community to make it a reality.
The world of education is becoming more complex. Our schools are required to meet state and federal standards and ensure our students perform well on state assessments. However, to ensure excellence, we must go beyond that which is prescribed and consistently provide each and every student with a high-quality educational experience.
We are committed to being a school district of quality, but we can't do it alone. It is important that we have your involvement and support. I invite you to become active in your local school or at the district level. There are many opportunities for you to contribute to the success of the district and individual students.
