Logging In

  • Enter your six-digit Employee ID Number. (this is on any previous paystub)
  • Enter your Password. The district advises you to change your password after your first log in.
  • Click on the Sign In tab, located at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. The DIRECT DEPOSIT PAY STUBS screen will automatically display.
  • If your login is not accepted, you will receive the message “Unable to look up your account information. Please make sure your login ID and/or password are correct.”

To View Direct Deposit Pay Stubs

  • The Direct Deposit Pay Stubs screen will display a listing of your current calendar year-to-date pay stubs.
  • To view an individual paystub click on the VIEW hyperlink. Pay stubs are listed in issue date order beginning with the most current date. By clicking on the headers, the list can be sorted by issue date, warrant number, or pay stub status, in either ascending or descending order. To request paystubs for specific time periods you may enter dates in the FROM and TO date fields, and click on the List Pay Stubs tab. A listing of all paystubs within the date range will display. Paystubs prior to 2009 are not available on line. Canceled warrants are listed and identified as canceled, but cannot be viewed. If you work multiple school districts, a dropdown box will appear and allow you to select the desired district.
  • To view multiple paystubs, select multiple checkboxes or select all paystubs, then click on the LIST SELECTED PAY STUBS tab at the bottom of the screen. All paystubs selected will display in one file, you may scroll down to view each pay stub.
  • Paystubs may be printed or saved as a document file. Paystubs are reviewed as an Adobe PDF Document. Using the Adobe Reader toolbar, the document may be printed or saved. Close the Adobe Reader to return to the Pay Stub On-line system.

To Change and/or Update Your Email Address and/or Your Password

  • Once you have logged in, at the top of the page you will see tabs, to “change Email Address, Change Password, Trouble Shooting, and Sign out.

To Change Your Email Address

  • Enter your current email address.
  • Enter your new email address.
  • Re-type your email address for verification.
  • Click on the Change Email Address tab on the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
  • If the Current email address entered cannot be verified with the email address on record, you will receive the message: “The current email address you entered doesn’t match with the email address you used to register”.
  • The Clear Page tab on the lower left-hand corner of the screen can be used at any time to clear the screen of any input data.

To Change Your Password

  • Enter your current password.
  • Enter your new password
  • Your password may contain up to eighteen characters. We suggest that you use a password at least six characters in length and a combination of alpha, numeric, and symbol characters to create a secure password.
  • Re-type your password for verification.
  • Click on the Change Password tab on the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
  • When the password is successfully changed, you will receive the message, “Your password has been changed.”
  • If the current password entered cannot be verified with the password on record you will receive the message: “The system cannot change your password. Please try again or contact your district administration office.”
  • The Clear Page tab on the lower left-hand corner of the screen can be used at any time to clear the screen of any input data.

To Sign Out

  • Click on the Sign Out tab to log off the system and return to the initial LOG IN screen.

Digital Schools Employee Access in a secure method of accessing your employment information online. No one can access your personal information without your login and password. DS Access allows you to review your own personal information that the Human Resources Department has on file. Emergency Contact Information can be edited and updated at any time by the employee. Features include:

  • Leave Account Balances
  • Benefits/Deductions
  • Certificated Credential Information
  • No Child Left Behind - view only
  • Service History for all employees - view only

This program can be accessed from any computer that has internet access. DS Access supports Internet Explorer (v6 and v7), Mozilla Firefox (v2 and above).

A new version of DS Access has been released.
Passwords are now changeable!!!

Below are some FAQ's about the new changes!

  1. Q- How do I log on?
    A- Log on to the Internet- The complete web address is:

    https://online.digital-schools.com

    In Google you may type in access.digital-schools.com and it will take you to the web site.
  2. Q- I do not know my password, how do I get into the program?
    A- You no longer need a password from the District Office. Once you are on the main page you "Register" and fill in all the boxes. You will be doing two things, confirming who you are and setting up your own personal password. The password must be 8 characters minimum. Once you have filled out the information, the system will direct you to "click" to enter the program.

    One of the questions asked is; what is your eamail address? For DS Access, your email address will be in one of three formats:
    • If you have an District email account your log in is:
      firstname.lastname@sduhsd.net
    • If you do not have a district email account, or any email account on file with the District, your log in is:
      firstname.lastname@sduhsd
    • If you have your personal email account on file with the district, your log in will be that address.

  3. Q- I forgot the password or I want to change it, how do I do that?
    A- If you should forget, lose or just want to change your password, re-register and create a new one. You may do this as many times as you want/need. Note: The password must be 8 characters minimum.
  4. Q- I click on the different links and nothing happens.
    A- Your computer needs to be updated. If you are at work please contact your site tech. If you are at home, run your updates. If after your computer is updated and you are still having difficulties, please contact Dawn Pearson ext 5522
  5. Q- How do I add a new emergency contact?
    A-
    • Click on the tab titled "Emergency contact"
    • Click "add new contact". This will outline the field in which to enter the contact name.
    • Type in your emergency contact's name.
    • Use the tab key to move to the "Phone" Number field. Type in your contact's phone number.
    • Use tab key moving to the "Type" field. Select Contact Type from the drop down menu (icon looks like an arrow pointing down) to add relationship type
    • Use tab key moving to the Comments field (even if you do not have any comments.) Add any comments you may have.
    • Continue hitting the tab key until you are on the new line below the name you just entered, this will save the record. You must tab down to a new line after every person is entered to save the information
  6. Q- How do I change my emergency contacts?
    A- To edit an existing record, simply click on that record; the text will become editable when you click on it. When you have finished editing or adding a record, "click off" the row to save the information.
  7. Q- How do I delete an emergency contact?
    A- Click "delete" to the left of the contact name.
